There is much to be said for Internat Solling: As an alternative to the public school system, our Gymnasium offers intensive support, individual support and a stable environment – with a learning culture that goes far beyond pure specialist knowledge.

Individual support – from grades 5 to 13

Whether out of their own desire or joint decision: Many students choose the Solling boarding school to fully develop their potential.
Our school community accompanies young people from the 5th grade to the Abitur – with small classes, personal support and dedicated teachers who support each child individually.
Our goal is more than a successful graduation: We want to promote curious, critical and self-confident personalities who take responsibility and go into the future with openness and courage.

We attach great importance to the “how” of learning – to thinking, questioning, creating. Because knowledge is only valuable if you know how to use it creatively and responsibly.

Promotion of body and mind

At the Gymnasium im Solling, the focus is not only on the mind, but also on the body. Exercise promotes concentration, health and well-being – and provides the important balance to learning.

Our diverse range of sports leaves nothing to be desired:
Whether horseback riding, tennis, basketball, volleyball, football, rugby, hockey, weight training or swimming – with us young people will find ideal conditions to be active in sports and discover new passions.

Even though I have already achieved a lot in my life, both professionally and privately, I constantly strive to be a little better tomorrow than I was yesterday. I really don't know when I was last bored.

I led and still lead a very exciting and eventful life. And I'm happy. The foundation of this happiness – I am firmly convinced of this – was poured in the LSH. By imparting values, by living together with mentalities of different colors, as well as by good friends who shaped my character in a lasting positive way and shape me to this day.
