Game, set, match!
Almost 100 years ago, the Solling boarding school was one of the first schools in Germany to have its own tennis court. To this day, tennis is an integral part of our school and boarding school life: living, learning and sports – all in one place.
In addition to horseback riding and classic team sports such as football, rugby, basketball or volleyball, tennis plays a special role at our high school.
More than 40 of our boarding school students and around a quarter of all students train regularly on the course – from ambitious tournament players to beginners in taster courses.
• 2 well-maintained clay courts directly on campus
• Additional multi-purpose artificial turf pitch
• Holzminden-Stahle tennis hall (4 courts, approx. 6 km away)
• Uslar-Schönhagen tennis hall (2 courts, approx. 19 km away, granulate floor)
• Regular transfer for training and matches (almost daily)
Cooperation with clubs:
• boarding school’s own club SV Landschulheim Solling
• TC Blau-Weiß Holzminden (Lower Saxony)
• TC Rot-Weiß Höxter (North Rhine-Westphalia)
Over 40 of our boarding school students and around a quarter of all students train regularly on the pitch.
Our goal is to offer all tennis enthusiasts – from beginners to tournament players – optimal conditions. Tournament players can train at a high level without neglecting their academic performance.
