The Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees of Internat Solling takes on tasks that are comparable to a supervisory board in a company.
It monitors the foundation’s business, appoints and dismisses the board, approves the budget and makes the final decision on all important issues – without interfering in the day-to-day operations.
The members of the committee are experienced educators, former students and parents representing different professional fields, including lawyers, bankers and entrepreneurs.
A particular strength of the boarding school is stability and continuity: Since the foundation was founded in 1924, the foundation board has only had three chairmen, which impressively underlines the trust and sustainable management of the boarding school.

The idea of boarding schools is more modern than ever, in a world where individuality is strongly emphasized. In schools like the Solling boarding school, young people can discover their talents and develop their own personality in a very special way. At the same time, however, they are also part of a living, learning and living community in which social bonding and community can be experienced. This mix is a wonderful experience for young people.
