Teaching and
leisure time at the same time
Soccer is Germany’s most popular sport – and an integral part of the lives of our students at the Solling boarding school. With just a few simple rules and a ball, a dynamic, powerful and at the same time technically and tactically demanding game begins, which promotes team spirit, coordination and creativity.
Whether young or old, girls or boys, teachers or pupils – soccer is both a subject and a leisure activity for us.
For children and young people in the lower and middle school, soccer lessons not only serve physical fitness, but also the development of social skills. Our students:
In the upper school, the focus is also on the individual promotion of footballing talents. Techniques are refined, movement sequences are analysed and fitness skills such as speed, strength, endurance, agility and coordination are specifically trained. Players also learn tactics at individual, group and team level. Football can even be chosen as an Abitur subject (P1 or P5).
Football enthusiasts who want to be active outside of class will find ideal conditions with us:
A special highlight is the cooperation with the Bundesliga team Hannover 96: On request, our boarding school footballers can take part in base training, weekend camps and stadium tours. Under the guidance of licensed coaches, the 4-phase model “perceive – understand – decide – execute” is taught, which distinguishes professional footballers.
